Kirby da Newf has been going to doggy daycare for about a month at County Kennels. She is beyond excited when she shows up and tired when I pick her up. Being a six month old puppy, going to Country Kennels has give Kirby an opportunity to socialize with other dogs. I was referred by a friend who has taken their dog there for sometime now and have recommended them to a couple of my friends.
Mrs. Roland , I have been boarding my dog here for a few years. I feel bad that you lost your pet however you can not point the blame on the kennel without taking some of that blame yourself. You should have known that the immune system on your elderly dog was already low but you also stated he was on medication prior to the stay so there was already something going on. I know the kennel requires a kennel cough shot but there are so many strains it's impossible to vaccinate against all of them. Update: so I am absolutely years and years late!! I completely forgot I was supposed to do an update!!!!
I love this place!! It is the only place I would leave my animal reactive, god of love (for humans) Eros!!!!!! Since I left this first review anytime we go on vacation our fur baby is here!! They handle him so well, always make sure he's safe with him being animal reactive but also make sure everyone else's fur babies are safe as well. I've never had an issue, they are always extremely responsive, and my puppy always seems happy when I come to pick him up!!!!!!
