Architectural Woods is a distributor of industrial and decorative building products, with eight delivery trucks daily. It offers a massive selection of wood products at competitive prices, including hardwood and softwood lumber, sheet goods, and decorative surfaces. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing great advice. However, it is primarily a wholesaler without a retail showroom, so it is not for the casual shopper. Customers should know what they need, as workers bring out stacks via forklift for selection.

Needed a small piece of cherry for a door rehab and was met with absolute competence and kindness by Gary, an outside sales rep who ostensibly had nothing to gain by helping a small fry like me apart from good karma. Quality operation ++
Bought some cherry boards to make a window frame. Friendly and helpful staff - even though I made a very small purchase compared to the people building full houses, they took their time and gave great advice. They don't have a "retail showroom" where you can look at and select boards, since they are primarily a wholesaler. They bring out a stack via forklift and you choose boards and they take the rest away.
