I've been coming here for a couple years now. I've had Jake, Coop, and Damian tame my coif...all have been excellent. This time I had Damian and I just want to say it was so cool. He had a young man there from a shadowing program that was exploring different careers. Damian was so good at balancing respecting my time and teaching this kid some skills. When you have a passion for what you do it shows in your work and how you talk about it to others. I was very impressed at how Damian spoke to this young man. Great cut by Shanley. This shop manages to feel both warm and inviting while still edgy/urban. Staff is friendly and polite, with banter among barbers consistent with young, enthusiastic artists. I’m an old man with little in common with the typical clientele but I enjoyed the shop and will be back.

I’m in Spokane for the weekend and chose solitude based on the reviews. All the barbers seemed to have great reviews, but I scheduled with Coop based on his availability and my schedule. Even though I was from out of town and certainly not likely to become a regular, I can tell he went out of his way to make sure I looked sharp. Both the barbers there today seemed energetic and really into what they do. Much appreciation to Coop for getting me looking sharp before my flight home tomorrow!!
