I’ve been coming to this clinic since Dr Hunter was still in practice and love both Dr Shrag’s. The scheduling is a little different but it works. They have been great every time I see them and I trust them. A lot of people complain about having to pay for veterinary care but I have always found their prices reasonable. My dog is family to me and she’s worth the cost that’s expected with owning a pet. In the past I considered changing to a vet that has weekend appointments but Hunter is flexible. Pets can be dropped off for all or part of the day, seen by the vet and picked up when convenient for the owner. I will stick with them as long as I am a pet owner.
I’ve taken my dog to Hunter a few times in a pinch, and they’ve always been the most affordable place I’ve found. They have systems in place to get your fur baby in last minute, which I’ve struggled to find at many other clinics—especially at a reasonable price.
Today I received the news I’ve been dreading: my sweet girl is terminal. The level of care and empathy I received was truly incomparable. When they told me she was in pain and gently asked if I wanted to let her go today, they did it with such compassion. I had a very sick little dog and the staff there were incredibly caring and compassionate. The doctors really worked with me to find a medication regimen that worked well for him and I am happy to say this worked and he is improving every single day!
