Beacons Cleaners and Laundry has proudly served the Spokane area since 1945, when we opened our first drive-thru facility on Northwest Blvd. When Hi Bum Kim purchased the company he grew concerned about the petroleum-based chemicals used in dry cleaning. “Perc” as it is called in the industry, is a liquid solvent used standard in most dry-cleaning companies and is highly regulated due to its environmentally pollutant properties.

Disappointing..I go to the post office right next door to pick up mail each day so I thought this would be a convenient dry cleaner to use. Brought in one shirt for work and dry clean. Did not do the work I requested and they still charged for dry clean. Did not say anything about not doing requested work until I noticed it was not done, then they went into a lame explanation even though originally they promised they could do the work. Was not worth hassling with them or getting angry over, I'll just go someplace else in South Hill.
I took in a vintage alpaca fur trench coat that I got at the thrift. Got told it needed two washes to get the smell out. I was only charged for one which was a blessingService: Clothes pressing
Staff was very positive and outgoing. Being my first time here, it was a pleasant experience. They were able to remove a tough stain that no other place was able to removr! Highly recommend.
