Working with Jodi and JJ at Aspen Personnel Services could not have worked out better!! I had applied for a dream job on Indeed and was quickly passed over. Lo and behold, I ended up applying to the same job through Aspen on a whim, and not only did they get me through the door, but I end up getting the position with a better salary than what was being offered! I love my new job and owe them a huge thank you. Besides being incredibly professional and wonderful people to work with, they really made the whole interview and negation process smooth and rewarding. My references even said they enjoyed speaking to them! It's not often I take the time to write reviews, but if...read full review
Last week, I had the opportunity to work with a different staffing company, a competitor of Aspen Personnel. Regarding an opening on Indeed.com, I worked briefly with the representative and the experience was DISMAL compared to Aspen (Suzie, specifically). Despite having only my resume and cover letter for reference, when we spoke on the phone, the guy asked exactly ONE question about me and did all the rest of the talking for thirty minutes (for example, explaining the obligations I would be under to HIS company, not to the future employer, if hired). He did not tell me a single thing about the potential employer that I hadn't already figured out on my own from their website; he offered nothing about the people, culture, expectations, reasons for hiring--in contrast to what Suzie had done for me. How would he find a good match without having in-depth info from both sides? IN CONTRAST, I was so impressed with Suzie/Aspen, especially how at ease she put me regarding interviews (they are fact-sharing opportunities, not high pressure, must-hire situations), that this experience with the 'other guy' really showed that Aspen goes above and beyond. I can totally see the value of hiring Aspen as a business, and I appreciate greatly the service provided as a job hunter. Thank you.
I am a job-seeker who started working with Aspen a few weeks ago. I'd never worked with such a company before. Last week, I worked with a DIFFERENT staffing company on another opening and found that Aspen really was above-and-beyond; my experience with the other company was DISMAL. The guy from Aspen's competition asked exactly ONE question about me and did all the rest of the talking for thirty minutes. He did not share anything about the potential employer that I hadn't already figured out on my own from their website. In stark contrast to that other company, I was so impressed with Aspen (Suzie) who really knew both sides thoroughly and helped me figure out if the...read full review
