I contacted Providence Gastroenterology in March. I was told to get a referral from my doctor. I had the referral sent to them. I called to confirm the referral. I was told they would contact me after the doctor looked at my history. Now at the end of May I am told they will not preform the colonoscopy because I have been to another provider in the past. I wait for 3 months for nothing. I hope you have a better experience than I had.

A very kind receptionist called be back within 10 minutes. She worked hard to solve a mobility issue for me. Great office. And shouldn’t a doctor’s office be judged by the quality of the doctor and not how quickly a receptionist answers the phone?

I agree with another reviewer. They never answer their phone and it always goes to voicemail. After an initial callback I was told they had to review my history and then would get back to me to schedule me in. They never got back to me. I called again after about 3 weeks and left another message. 3 weeks later no response. I understand they may have staffing issues but it’s disconcerting to be ignored.
