“I had such an amazing experience at Salon Maven. I first came in for a consultation, followed by a separate appointment for my color and cut, which I really appreciated. After having a baby, I wasn’t feeling the greatest about myself or my hair, and I truly needed a revamp to feel fresh, healthy, and confident again.

From the moment I walked in, the studio felt so homey, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and full of little details that made the entire experience comfortable and relaxing.

She did an incredible job making sure I felt informed and involved every step of the way. We discussed the plan moving forward together, going over details like color, cut, and realistic end results. She took the time to thoroughly understand my hair history so expectations were clear and reasonable, which I really valued.

Because it was a longer session, she was kind enough to allow me to nurse my baby in the studio and even worked through her lunch just to accommodate me. I never felt this was an obligation—just genuine thoughtfulness and care to make things easier for me as a mom with young kids.

She was lovely, kind, and incredibly thoughtful, and she also educated me on my hair so I feel confident knowing how to take care of it moving forward. The end result was beautiful, healthy, and easy to maintain.

It was my first time ever coming to this salon. I felt relaxed and like I could totally be myself. She made it easy to open up and talk about my hair wants and needs. She listened to my entire hair history and what color/style I was requesting for my hair. She helped me make a choice, based on my wants and my hair type needs. Rachel nailed it!!! It was exactly what I was looking for. ?

Let me tell you, it was NOT an easy feat to complete the request. I wanted white hair. Getting hair to white (let alone damaged hair; that had semi permanent red/oranges in), is not easy.

I made a follow up appointment (for maintenance) with Rachel again, for next month. I'm really looking forward to working with Rachel again, knowing that my hair will be able to stay looking in tip top shape. “
