The Tenants Union gave helpful information and guidance as a housing situation came up. They are listening to people facing hardships, homelessness and substandard rental conditions. Our advocacy work stepped in as an advocate with landlord and gave family support in crisis. Tenants Union caring for the unhoused, give new plan, change and perspective and give grateful tenants the power to change.
They never answer the phone and they don't reasons to any emails. I've called deceased times and emailed the the main email for WA state and the thurston county email.
Makes me question what they really do with all their donations as they obviously don't do what they advertise.
Had a situation come up regarding our apartment - my wife and I filed a claim and in about 2 weeks received a ton of helpful information from the Tenants Union (shout out to Lydia!). We would otherwise be lost on what to do as next steps, can’t thank you enough for the guidance!
Called 3 separate times. The first I was hold for 45 mins and had to hang up coz I was at work. The second time I called I was on hold for 1hr and 45mins and still wasn't able to talk to anyone. The third one was a 2hour hold and still didn't speak to anyone. All I keep hearing is "Your call is important to us". How? when you're not answering your damn phones? I've decided to try my luck at the small claims court. I need for my landlord to know I mean business. He is refusing to return our last month's rent out of spite. I may not win because I'm not rich like him, but I will have wasted his time enough to think twice about stealing from hard working folk next time. If...read full review
