The Tenants Union gave helpful information and guidance as a housing situation came up. They are listening to people facing hardships, homelessness and substandard rental conditions. Our advocacy work stepped in as an advocate with landlord and gave family support in crisis. Tenants Union caring for the unhoused, give new plan, change and perspective and give grateful tenants the power to change.
They tell you to go on line and file a complaint however when you go on line there's no way to file a complaint it tells you to call th same phone number no one answers
This is just one more government agencies that is wiping the other government hand and telling people there helping.
It's a nuther way for the government to hide what it's doing gane funding and not accomplish anything useful for the community
They never answer the phone and they don't reasons to any emails. I've called deceased times and emailed the the main email for WA state and the thurston county email.
Makes me question what they really do with all their donations as they obviously don't do what they advertise.
Had a situation come up regarding our apartment - my wife and I filed a claim and in about 2 weeks received a ton of helpful information from the Tenants Union (shout out to Lydia!). We would otherwise be lost on what to do as next steps, can’t thank you enough for the guidance!
