I tried to enroll my two kids in this program. I submitted the application, completed the various surveys and paperwork. The communication from their end was very slow. It would take several days to a week to get a response from an email, I received a text message asking to set up enrollment meeting. Agree to the date and time, it took two weeks for them to respond to my text message, saying that they would send me the invitation the following day. I never received anything. The day before and the day of I sent an email, called their offices and sent a text message to the same number and received no response. About a year ago I went through the in-depth interview process with BBBS as I thought I was a well rounded human that could add value to another humans life. According to BBBS, I wasn't good enough.They want to know your entire life history, background check, and ask very personal questions that I answered in good faith being transparent. I was rejected, after the “board” reviewed my application they deemed that I wasn't good enough to “volunteer” my time to hang with kids that need a mentor.BBBS always need mentors because they reject almost every one that apply.You're better off not even bothering with them.
