Swerve is excellent! They were super responsive and always friendly and kind when responding to our emails and answering questions. They have a great team, and we would definitely use them again!

Over all was good. All of the instructors were nice. The practice tests for the knowledge exam were confusing at times (weirdly worded questions). Otherwise, it was good experience

As far as driving schools in Washington go it’s hard to find one that includes staff that genuinely care about their students, unfortunately this school is a prime example. While instructor Buck is amazing at his teaching and communication and shows genuine care for his students, I found the rest of this location to be poorly managed and constantly careless. Out of the required classes there was very little teaching and we ran into multiple technical difficulties, sometimes having no audio for the entire class. The advertisements of not having to go to the DOL are pretty much completely bogus seeing as if you have any sort of question or problem that doesn’t include paying swerve they will send you to the DOL. I, alongside many other students have had very uncomfortable drive tests with a particular instructor Eric Zhong. His communication makes testing feel extremely unsafe as instructions for turning and stopping are given too late to safely perform the requests. The instructors knowledge of English was also concerning as it had to do with basic driving instructions. Two examples I can think of are when I was told to coast down hill then was told I should have used my brakes, the other time being told to put the window down when it was already down (he meant to say up). One of the key principles of a driving instructor is clear communication and promotion of a calm environment and unfortunately I find that Mr. Zhong was completely unable to provide that for me.

I had a great experience taking classes here. My instructors, Buck and Kathy, were extremely kind and genuinely wanted to see me succeed. I took most of my drives with Mr. Patrick McGinnis, who was very kind and personable. All in all, my time at Swerve was very enjoyable and shaped me into the great driver I am today!

I had a great experience with Swerve Driving School, Sammamish! My instructor, Buck, was amazing throughout the entire learning process. He is very nice, patient, and extremely supportive. He explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and confident while driving.

It was a nice place I loved that my driving instructor was honest and didn't make me feel overwhelmed. She also talked to me about the things I could do better after which I enjoyed. She wasn't harsh about it but honest!

I’m really grateful to have had Jared as my examiner. As a non-native English speaker and a new driver, I was pretty nervous going into the test. Jared gave very clear instructions, patiently repeated them when needed, and even used hand gestures to help me understand. He kept encouraging me throughout the test, which really helped me stay calm.
Jared is professional, patient, polite, and very understanding. After the exam, he took the time to go over every point I was marked down on and shared practical, helpful tips for my future driving. Having Jared as my examiner truly felt like a blessing!
The front desk staff was also great — friendly, responsive, and very on top of email communication. The whole Swerve Sammamish team is supportive, professional, and genuinely kind. Highly recommend!
