The new owner's "Staplemans Custom Cowboy & Cowgirl Boots and Shoes" out of Pendleton Oregon came in and threw out most of the orders including my $300 Asolo hiking boots and along with my $25 repair fee that I will never get back. So long to my favorite hiking boots, lots of memories in those things.. and they still had years of life left... just needed a little glue to fix a part of the sole that was coming off... its a shame.

The guy who runs this place has no system of organizing people's belongings. So despite the fact that we have a ticket stub with a number on it, he always asks "what do the shoes look like?" Then he will look for 10-15 minutes for the shoes. More than half the time, the work hasn't been done yet... Even if it's 3 weeks after dropping it off for a simple polish. There have been other times where he just can't find the shoes at all. Even when we take a picture of the shoes before dropping them off and show him the picture of what they look like, he can't find them...

I had a dog collar repaired here. Service was immediate and repair was exceptional.

I took a pair of BRAND NEW $300 boots to have the heel repaired, (it had come loose whenI twisted my ankle) so I just wanted it secured. I paid in advance and he said 2 weeks! So after 2 weeks I went in and he had LOST my boots, & I had to help him search the store and finally found them buried under a pile of other items people had brought in, then another 2 weeks went by and when I got my boots back they had cement glue all over the suede where he had spilled and ruined my boots. I told him that was unacceptable, he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away!! He didn't even refund my money for ruining my boots!!

Very nice man I took a 45-year-old Buffalo leather knife sheath in to be repaired and did a phenomenal job I have a pair of 1970s sorrels that I'm going to take to him next I recommend this man's business to anyone seeking quality craftsmanship

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! I took my leather jacket in to him, it took him over 2 MONTHS to complete it, and the repairs hardly lasted a year!! I took it another and they explained why, he DIDNT SEW the seams back together, he GLUED THEM!! It took this other store 3 days, they completed the repairs and even fixed 3 pockets!! The same 3 he said he couldn't do!!DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN!!

I have been waiting going on 2 months for a simple repair. He even had me prepay. I have been back 4 times to pick it up. He couldn’t even find it and I saw it thrown in a pile! . He will say come back tomorrow or a couple days and then is closed or it isn’t done. I have zero clue how to even get my item back. Once I get my item back, I will never return.

I brought my leather jacket in for a couple of seams and a zipper to be repaired. He promised 1 week. A week later I checked and he said he was too busy. He needed a couple more weeks. After a couple more weeks I checked and he couldn't even find it! He searched all over his shop before he finally found on a rack somewhere. He pulled it out and promised it in 1 more week. I checked again and AGAIN he had an excuse. 3 weeks later I finally got the jacket back! It was a mediocre job at best, but I wanted my jacket back so I paid him. Within 3 weeks one seam and the zipper started coming loose again!! I will NEVER go back to him!!!
