About Kadlec Clinic - Gastroenterology
Based solely on the provided reviews, Kadlec Clinic - Gastroenterology has excellent doctors and nursing staff with great bedside manners. The doctors, including Dr. Maher, Dr. Hafiz, and Dr. Geldmacher, are terrific, thorough, and clear about procedures. The nurses are very kind, apologetic, and amazing, with one patient noting the best IV ever. One patient praised the staff for helping them feel as comfortable as possible and for answering questions. Another patient was able to breathe effortlessly for the first time in a year after a procedure. However, the non-medical staff is described as the worst ever. The phone staff is not good, with reports of not returning calls, hanging up, and rude treatment. The front check-in staff look at patients as if they wish they had not walked in. There are also complaints about difficulty scheduling appointments, with one person trying for months to get a colonoscopy appointment.
Went for a colonoscopy, so the bowel prep meds dehydrated me making it difficult for them to find a vein. I had at least 8 people try and get an IV in, 10 pokes later they got it. The whole time the nurses were very kind and apologetic. Once they got it in it was a quick and easy process.(as quick as 3 hours could be) but I want to sing praises to the Staff for their bedside manners.
The nursing staff and Dr Maher were terrific. They help you feel as comfortable as possible considering the procedures they are doing. All were great answering questions and explaining the results. I would recommend.
Dr. Hafiz had amazing bedside manner and was very thorough and clear about the procedure. I was asked at least 5 times to verify everything to make sure nothing was missed and I fully understood everything. The RN was amazing and had the best IV I've ever had. The Anesthesiologists was amazing as well with thorough explanations of everything and walking me through every detail of what was being done and what to expect. I went in for a colonoscopy.
