Fairwood Clinic - Primary Care - Valley Medical Center

I used to like coming here but my previous doctor would rush my appointments and then left. Why is it taking 6 months to get a new PCP. I tried to schedule my pulmonary appt and since my doctor left all her referrals are invalid and no one told me so now I am leaving this clinic.

I like my Doctor, but it is ridiculous getting an appointment is always 3 months or more. I will have to seek alternative.

Honestly a fantastic experience for the 2.5 years I lived here. Dr McLaughlin was my primary care physician and she was amazing beginning to end. I never felt like my appointments were rushed, she always spent a lot of time discussing my concerns and making sure all of my questions were answered. Also, they use MyChart religiously here which has been a huge help, I always get an answer back from the doctor within an hour or two of posting a question. Blood work is also super quick.

My husband and I had new patient appt. With Dr Weiderhold , awesome visit, took all the time we needed, bedside manner impeccable! Check-in was easy and all nurses and assistants were equally impressive! Very impressed!

Had the worst experience at this clinic with Dr. E Mclaughin. She totally dismissed all my concerns about my health issue and did not listen to me at all.

I called on Friday to confirm I had an appointment on Monday, September 8, and the lady said yes. Turns out it was a month away. I waste my time and money. I took time off from my work to make this appointment. Never again this place.

Horrible. I saw Dr. Davis and he and his staff were terrible. They ordered the wrong asthma inhaler for me and said there was nothing the could do about it despite me saying the pharmacy said they needed a new order. They closed that message in MyChart so I couldn't message anymore. At the same time I was supposed to have a second blood test ordered 6 weeks after my first. The order was never placed, they said I needed to speak to a doctor about my test results from 4 weeks earlier first which I did and even cited my MyChart history having that appointment. The closed that message too so I couldn't ask about that anymore either. I sent new messages asking for an inhaler prescription and the order for my second blood tests and they remained unresponded too. To whoever reading this trying to determine if this is where you should get care, don't. You deserve better, and a team of doctors that care about your health too.

Estella laughed at me over the phone while I was asking about availability, which felt dismissive and unprofessional… especially given that I was reaching out for medical care and not expected to know the ins and outs of their scheduling system. She told me appointments are never available soon, which may be the case at this particular office, but certainly isn’t the case everywhere.

After I mentioned I was referred to a specific doctor, I was told they didn’t have any openings until January (it’s currently July). I was then scheduled with a different provider, who I later discovered has consistently poor reviews. Overall, this experience left me feeling frustrated and unsure about starting care here even though I was referred by family and friends.

I request a FMLA form for my dad. Because were going to the philippines for personal matters and i’m the one who will taking care of him while were there. I’m suprise when the doctor told me that he is uncomfortable to fill up my fmla form for my dad. He knows the situation of my dad how weak he is, he got all the medical records because he is the primary doctor of my dad. What kind of doctor is this, he is not helpful . His name is Dr. Charles Davis.

Dr. Wang is wonderful and very attentive. He doesn't rush you and he listens to everything that's going on. So far my experience at this facility has been nothing but wonderful.
