    We toured this place today.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the program and the WA state laws. They explained steps and educational program.
    The process is pretty straightforward.
The rooms are well equipped. Looks like a great place to get your license at.

I didn't know what to expect from this place honestly β€” most of the reviews are by students about the school, and not the services this place provides, so it's hard to understand what the quality of the service is. They offer a full body scrub, which I figured I'd try out as the winter here is brutally dry and my skin is always rough and flaky.

My technician (?) was a student who'd been at the school for six months, and unfortunately it showed. I've had massages at student clinics before, so I'm familiar with how someone who's only done something a few times fumbles through the steps.

The whole thing was just...weird. 🫀 She had me put these massive baggy shorts on over my boxer shorts, which then covered about 20% of my body and didn't get scrubbed. OK, they are concerned with modesty, that's fine. The rest of me got a very non-abrasive scrub with a semi-oily substance that was applied very gently (as in, not much scrubbing). There was something resembling a massage that happened next, but it was so soft and unfocused, I wasn't really sure what she was doing. It all lasted less than an hour and while it was relaxing, it didn't do much for my skin or muscles. The oil was weirdly difficult to wipe off.

The technician was kind and did her best, but I don't think this is a useful service for them to offer. I suspect they get more training and have more practice at beautician-type skin treatments, so that's what you should go here for, not the body scrub.

This school is great but it is very niche. The tests are hard and the flow is awkward. European skincare is not that revered in the esthetics world… also don’t feel pressure to do the masters at a certain place, consider other options. The main reason I am not fully satisfied with this experience is because I am just finally healing my scalp from the blisters I got from going here. There is lots of bleach used in the laundry. I wish they would find better hygienic solutions so their more sensitize clientele isn’t exposed to high levels of chemicals.
