An enthusiastic five stars A++. From the first time we met the owner, Greg, to the very end of the project it’s been an incredible experience, which is a weird thing to say about renovation work! The estimate was very competitive and if anything changed, Greg was really transparent. His communication throughout the six month excavation of our basement (2’ of dirt, more in the crawl space, and redoing our entire foundation) was excellent. Dochnahl came very highly recommended by our structural engineer and we were very lucky that to get our small project onto their very busy calendar. In my due diligence, Dochnahl has a stellar reputation as one of the best builders in Seattle.

Greg and his fantastic team did an AMAZING job of pin piling our foundation and made a very stressful situation so much better. Until you have 24 massive holes dug around your property, you can't fathom the amount of dirt that has be dug out (in our case all by hand with very limited access!), how much work is involved, and how noisy pile driving is going to be.

Working with Dochnahl was a wonderful experience. These guys are all about doing high quality work. Every single person on the job site could have run the job by themselves. Never ever felt like I was not getting value for my dollar. They showed up on time, communicated well, and by the time we were a month into the project we were all good friends.

Dochnahl supported the house on a steel beam and pin piles while they replaced the foundation and excavated an existing crawl space to give me a basement.
