Shrutee Sharma, Chronic Pain Specialist

I started visiting Shrutee because I had chronic lower back pain. It began years ago and would come and go depending on my movement. I’ve cycled through acupuncture, massages, physical therapy, and Pilates and while they all helped, I credit Shrutee with really helping me get to a place where I am nearly pain-free. She’s coached me on some movement and lifestyle changes that have collectively got my body into her much better place. Five out of five - highly recommend.

I am not new to the Feldenkrais Method. I have experienced other practitioners, who were quite good, but not like Shrutee. Shrutee's work is a wonderful combination of her expertise in the work that is beautifully blended with her intuition. I especially like the moments when she is still waiting for what will come next. I have had lower back issues for many years, and I can honestly say that this is really the first time I am noticing incremental changes in my structure and the way I am moving through. I always leave my sessions feeling taller, more relaxed, accomplished and more educated about the work.

I have taken private sessions with Shrutee for my shoulder, and they were incredibly helpful in easing the intense pain I was experiencing. I recently took her Shoulder Masterclass and really enjoyed it. I’m already noticing greater symmetry in my shoulders, and the tension releases a little more each time I do a session. It was fascinating to see how the smallest, slowest movements could bring so much relief. The explanations using the skeleton made it easy to visualize which part of my shoulder or upper body we were focusing on.
