This is an exceptional company to work with. From the first contact to the last clean up they have made a potentially stressful project easier than I thought would be possible . They were transparent with pricing. Their communication has been reliable and consistent every step of the way. The workmanship is incredible and the icing on the cake is that they are really good people. Our roof is flat and you can barely see it but I am absolutely thrilled with it!!

This company was truly exceptional. They have an old-school work ethic and are very transparent at every step of the process. Their prices were competitive, and they kept us informed daily. I would highly recommend.

Overall, the quality of the roofing work appears to be good, and David, the on-site project manager, was professional and pleasant to work with throughout the project. Randy, the salesperson, was also courteous during the sales process and took the time to explain the quote and roofing procedures in detail. Because this is a single-level home, I was able to personally inspect much of the completed work, and the workmanship appears to be solid.

However, the overall experience was frustrating due to the manner in which the quoting process and subsequent change orders were handled. The initial quote was lower than those provided by competitors, but it later became apparent that the amount of plywood and repair work required had not been fully estimated in advance. No plywood was included in the original quote, which, in retrospect, should have raised concerns. Once work commenced, additional change orders were presented almost daily. Based on the roof’s square footage, I had quote from multiple roofers initially that the project should require no more than approximately 70 sheets of plywood, including waste. After the project began, the estimate was quoted as upward to 80 sheets, which I questioned, yet the final total ultimately reached 91 sheets. An additional 11 sheets were used beyond the revised estimate without obtaining my prior approval.

There was also a fascia replacement change order that I had signed; however, the final amount later doubled because the company stated that an error had been made in the original estimate. Ultimately, what began as an approximately $26,500 project increased to roughly $35,000 including taxes.

My recommendation to future customers would be to insist on a far more comprehensive repair estimate at the outset and to clearly establish approval limits for any additional plywood or repair work before the project begins. Otherwise, the final cost may become significantly higher than anticipated.

One additional disappointment is that the team had promised daily photos, videos, and final project documentation, which I have still not received.

Larry Haight Roofing did a great job. They completed the job in the timing and the price that they promised and the new roof looks great. They fixed our leak and dealt with problem spots to prolong the life of our new roof. They cleaned up well when they were done.
