My daughter purchased a strapless dress for her prom, and although the design was unique, it was mass produced and did not fit her very well. As a strapless dress we needed to ensure that it was properly tailored to her body and tight in the right places. We found Lani’s Tailor and Atelier by accident, and we’re so glad we did. Dora was extremely professional and gave us several suggestions to custom-fit the dress to my daughter. She walked us through what she was going to do and her explanations were very clear. I had such a wonderful experience getting my wedding dress altered here. They put so much care and effort into making it fit me perfectly. My dress is mostly lace, which made the alterations more intricate, and everything had to be hand-sewn, and the results were absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
The customer service was amazing as well. Dora was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish — kind, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!
I have used the services at Lani's twice so far: for 3 pairs of trousers and for a sport coat. Every item has come out looking and feeling perfect
Dora made me feel at ease, and is so patient and knowledgeable about fits and materials. She went above and beyond recommending different items, brands, and colors that would match the pieces I had brought in for alteration
They are open about their prices, which match the quality of the work. They also take your best interests at heart when suggesting alternate arrangements for work on certain items
