I've only had good experiences at Lani's, and I highly recommend this shop. I first used Lani's a few years ago to hem some jeans, and the work was great.
I didn't have any reason to go back to Lani's until recently, when I needed to get a wedding/elopement dress altered. I bought a dress online, and it fit alright for off-the-rack, but was very loose in the chest and too long, so I made an appointment online at Lani's and took the dress in.

I could not be happier with my experience. This team saved my wedding dress. A different tailor made my dress straps so tight that it was painful and I was terrified that I was going to be uncomfortable the entire day. This shop completely redesigned the entire top of the dress from painful straps for a gorgeous off-the-shoulder dress. When I needed more arm movement for the first dance, I just tucked the straps in. I received so many compliments and felt like an actual princess. The customer service and the dress design was a 10/10.
Lani's helped save my wedding! Before I visited Lani’s, I was working with a seamstress through the bridal shop where I bought my original dress. A month before my wedding, that seamstress made several alteration mistakes that left my dress damaged beyond easy repair. I ended up having to find a brand new dress just three weeks before my wedding.
After finding my new dress, I still needed alterations and was honestly so nervous about where to go, especially with so little time left.
