Paige Norman at Hands for Living in Redmond was in charge of my PT. From what I considered a simple bump of my knuckle turned into a a long road to reconnect the tendon to the finger. Paige was professional, very knowledgeable caring and always upbeat and encouraging. I would not hesitate to recommend Paige.’

Warm and friendly office. Very knowledgeable about hand therapy. The custom splints they made are super useful. Knowledgeable about EDS and hypermobility.

This team is OUTSTANDING! I moved back to WA during an already rough life patch! I had the added stress of 3 surgeries on hands/wrists/thumbs in 5 months. Thumbs are kinda important to being human, so l'd lost function and ability to do basic things. I'd also lost the ability to do the things I love ~ or draw, paint, write, etc. The physical pain has been unrelenting with no end in sight. Other PT places have not been able to help me in the past, because of my genetic disease and differences in my system. I hate this, but I had lost hope. This team has restored function I haven't had in years and I'm well on my way to drawing again after 4 years unable to. At my last appointment, I realized I'd cut my muscle relaxer/meds l've been prescribed for years out almost completely and I have reduced other meds in half without even realizing at first!! As if that isn't enough, they've restored my faith. I'd lost hope in the medical system. There really are healers in our medical system still and we've never needed it more.

Hands down one of the best things that happened to my wife's hands after the injury! Jacob has been nothing short of being the most professional, sweet and helpful human being ever and I cannot thank him enough for his help in getting my wife back to normal! 10/10 highly recommend for any hand issues!

I had a wonderful experience at Hands for Living. All of the therapists are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to talk to. Highly recommend for anyone looking for hand, arm or shoulder PT.

I started having really bad tennis elbow, bad enough where I had to stop playing, couldn’t open jars- basically lost much of the use of my right arm. Ryan and the team at hands for living helped me get use of my arm back to very near pre tennis elbow. With a couple tweaks to my game and fairly faithful adherence to their program I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

TLDR; Hands for Living (Redmond location) therapists are some of the best I’ve encountered!
If you’ve watched the medical tv drama “The Pitt” or are in the medical field, you might be familiar with the phrase, “Treat the patient, not the protocol”. That is exactly what Hands for Living does.
Instead of seeing me as my demographic and being satisfied with the limited recovery another therapy place told me I just had to live with, Jacob immediately understood that I had been a very active person prior to my injury and got to work charting a course to return me to function. He assigned me a couple simple yet surprisingly effective home exercises. In addition, he took detailed measurements of my current condition so my progress was easily charted and celebrated. I also got to work with Jessica who taught me some helpful home care tips and has some great techniques with massage.
The vibe in the office is very friendly and fun which made going to therapy quite enjoyable. Michele at the front desk is always patient and helpful, and it truly felt like a Cheers experience (minus the alcohol of course) to cite another tv show that probably dates me.
Of course, the best part is the effectiveness of their therapy and I am so glad I found them!

Hands for Living is fantastic! Ryan and Hillary are excellent at what they do—really thoughtful about finding solutions to support my hands and thumbs for my unique work situation. I’ve felt truly listened to and supported every step of the way. The reception staff is also incredibly kind, welcoming, and informative, which makes every visit smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Great staff, professional and knowledgeable yet very friendly. Jacob was my hand therapist for my post tendor repair surgery with my pinky finger, with his professional help, I was able to regain mobility sooner than I expected!

My left hand healed wrong after an accident, I had to have my 2nd Metacarpal on my left hand surgically rebroken. They worked my hands until they were back to nearly 100%. Great group of people, many have been in the hand therapy business for over 20 years and take great pride in their work. I would recommend to anyone, even if it is just aches and pains, they are VERY good! Vannessa was my primary, but have worked with many others as well. Again, very competent and great customer service.
