About Gray Barn Nursery
The Gray Barn Nursery is a full-service plant nursery and garden center, offering a wide variety of plant species, gardening tools, natural products, and unique gifts. Customers praise the helpful staff, reasonable prices, and good selection of trees, plants, flowers, soil, compost, and fertilizers. The nursery is known for its exceptional and unique plants, especially during the August 20% off sale. The annuals bought every spring are of good quality. Some perennials do well, but others, like roses, red salvia, heucheras, and cone flowers, have not come back the second year. The staff are lovely, with Ethan and Paulina graciously helping customers. A wide selection of plants are available here. The staff are very nice and friendly, answering questions. The only drawback is that it can be difficult to leave heading westbound, especially during rush hour.

Wide selection of plants are available here. Very nice and friendly staff answered the questions that we had. The only drawback is something that they can't control: It can be difficult to leave heading westbound, especially during rush hour. Just be aware of this.
I was very surprised to find red paintbrush (Castilleja miniata) for sale here, a lovely but hard to find native plant! The native section was well stocked with others at good prices too. They also had a lot of very interesting exotics and a large clearance section too. I'll definitely be back!
