This is the absolute best message therapy. I hobbled in, barely able to walk and couldn't lift my leg from being old and out of shape, but still trying to do yardwork like I'm 20, but I walked out all but tap dancing (which would have been amazing because I don't know how to tapdance). Jen was so kind and thoughtful. She showed true empathy and talked me through the therapy and showed me some stretching to do on my own. Do yourself a favor and book a message. These people are amazing!

Sheridan has been amazing throughout my prenatal massage visits. She’s kind, professional, communicative, and always makes me feel comfortable and cared for. I genuinely look forward to every appointment because she creates such a relaxing and supportive experience. They also take insurance, and the whole process has been incredibly easy and stress-free. As a vet an strongman i have been going to mermaid for years an the owner takes care of me personally because of the sport im in this place is a home away from they treat you like family this is where you wanna be the knowledge an skill is amazing

My husband and I booked massages with Mermaid cove because they said they accept our insurance plan. He had his first appointment and the massage therapist said she didn’t know how to charge insurance but the owner will get back to us. He gave them a tip. 3 days later we see a charge on our credit card for the massage in full. A before his appointment, I had my first appointment, also booking online thru their website, medical insurance massage. When i arrived at the spa I clarified I was paying thru insurance. The massage therapist said I can’t bill it myself until get my owner to take care of it. After the massage she said, it’s all taken care of. I asked if she needed a copy of my insurance card, which she declined. I paid a tip and went on my day.
We emailed the spa to get clarity, assuming it was a mistake, but the owner said we needed a medical referral and it looked like someone switched it from insurance to self-pay.
We confirmed with our insurance plan that we don’t need a referral for the plan to cover the service, and we still haven’t heard back or been compensated for them Billing our card with agreement.
The lack of clear protocols and charging someone after you agree you are billing insurance is absurd and unethical.

Prenatal massages, I wish I had one earlier! I shopped around a couple places and picked Mermaid massage since their price was competitive & they were in the next town over. The booking process was easy, and their website had good blurbs explaining the service you selected. Emily was kind and explained to me how the set up worked. I've had massages before but never while pregnant. There's a pillow that allows you to lay down while cradling your belly and the rest of the upper body. She asked me some questions about where my pain was and started. Her pressure was perfect, but she can adjust accordingly as well (I'm used to a little higher pressure). While I didn't mention my sciatica and how I've been having pain, she definitely felt the tightness and gave it some much needed time, as well as the muscles in my neck, which have been bothering me. 1 hour flew by and I definitely wish I had booked a longer time frame. Overall, I'm super satisfied with the entire process & will be going back.

Best massage place I've been to, ever, hands down. Aubrey gives the most amazing deep tissue massages. Process are super reasonable and scheduling can all be done online, too!

Emily and Jen are so wonderful at their jobs and were able to help me as I was in so much chronic pain. They are both super helpful and can easily see they care deeply about their job as well as the clients well being. Have been going for awhile—this is the only massage place I will return to. AMAZING WORK😊
