Was in a pinch after not being able to get boarding at the other nearby kennel and was pleased that we could get our dog in here on short notice. Asked to see the kennels on the day of drop off, a rather dark enclosed room with about 8 (?) indoor dog kennels. Each kennel has access to a large enclosed outdoor area that they are (supposedly) taken out to individually a few times a day, but only on a lead, no free-running allowed, not sure why. All-in-all a pretty bare-bones set up, which was okay for a short board. My issue arises from her billing/charge policy, which is not stated anywhere on her website. We have left our two dogs with Marcia now for two separate stays. Both times, the dogs were healthy and happy when I picked them up. They were happy to go back a second time.

Price is superb for dog boarding. $12/overnight. My dog stayed at her home for 5 days and seemed fine when I picked him up. Just very clingy, then got better. Marcia was friendly. However, she didn't show me where my dog would stay overnight nor the area he would play during the day so that was puzzling and troubling. But I didn't ask. Mostly because it seemed as though she didn't want me to go to the back of her house when she shut the door to the dog boarding area as soon as I dropped my dog off, and when I picked him up. She is professional though. Forms to sign and all. Overall, satisfied dog owner. Now, if only my dog could talk... Tip: Dont forget... read full review
