I watched Justin really scrub the hood and 18 inches up the vent above. I understand that the bad grease is expected in just the lower vent where he cleaned. Time will tell if any grease further up the column will cause oil drip. What can be reached from below by hand and short handled scraper is super clean. Fingers crossed that this cleaning solves the problem

Apex Hood Cleaning came out and cleaned our hood this week, he worked in the kitchen with one of our dishwashers for a lot of the night. I, the owner, woke up to a text the next morning from that dishwasher RAVING about how awesome the Apex Hood Cleaning guy was. How helpful he was to him, willing to do all of the floor mopping, and how he did such a good job and was a great guy to work with. Plus, our hood was SPARKLING the next day. Thank you Apex!

Good experience with cleaning. I also figured out that I don't need a specialist to clean the hood for my kitchen and they are more appropriate for commercial kitchen cleaning.
