Acorn Dental Clinic

This office is amazing! Dr. Keyes goes out of his way to make going to the dentist a comfortable experience. I first visited this office years ago after many years of bad experiences. My anxiety has been replaced by excitement to go to the dentist now!! I don’t want to see any other dentist. The people in this office are caring humans and I always feel seen and heard. Thank you to Dr. Keyes and the entire staff. I am grateful for you 🙏😊

tl;dr Friendly, accommodating, ethical, and surprisingly reasonably priced.

Broke a perfectly good tooth (ah, stress...) while traveling. I worried about finding a dentist almost 2,000 miles from home. I picked Acorn Dental Clinic, and they are able to get me in within a couple days.

The employees were friendly and upbeat. They obviously enjoy working together and seemed genuinely happy to be there.

The dental assistant (hygienist? I'm sorry; I should have asked her title) was efficient and very understanding of my anxiety. (omgosh, does anyone love to go to a dentist? Let alone an unknown dentist in a location far from home on an emergency basis... talk about stress!)

The dentist (Dr. Keyes? Again, I was really stressed, and I'm horrible with names) was very kind. I have experienced dentists who behave like sleazy used car salesmen, but not this one—he didn't have to let me know that repairing my tooth was not urgent, and he didn't have to allow me to call my home dentist to double-check prices, either, but he did. If i lived in the area, I think I'd make Acorn Dental Clinic my regular dental provider.

Warm water in the waterpik — such a small detail, but it stood out immensely. It’s clear that this office cares about the patient experience down to the smallest touches.

Everyone I interacted with was friendly, kind, and patient in answering my (many) questions. That alone would have made me happy, but there was something deeper about this place. It felt like stepping into an alternate reality, one where people genuinely care about their work and about each other.

For years, I avoided the dentist because past experiences left me feeling judged and anxious. That wasn’t the case here at all. I didn’t feel embarrassed or shamed — I felt accepted.

After so many discouraging experiences in life and in dental care, it was surprisingly moving to be treated with such genuine kindness. It reminded me that compassion and humanity still exist — even in the places you least expect them.

Such a friendly and kind staff. The dentist listened to my concerns and gave me valuable feedback without brushing me off which has been hard to come across at other dentists. I hope to go back to them someday if I need future care.

Walked in to schedule an appt in person and was not pleased with the front desk lady that “assisted me”. Barely wanted to assist me into scheduling a future appointment. Not 1 smile in that office!

I never write reviews. But I have to give Dr. Keyes and his staff 5 stars! I have a severe fear of the dentist because I’ve had bad experiences before. He always makes me feel at ease and explains everything in detail. I would recommend them for anyone with anxiety about going to the dentist! Go get your smile back!

Great doctor, love the music.

Very aggressive and not gentle when working on your teeth and gums. I have been to tons of dentist in my lifetime but none that perform like this. Do not recommend.
