I saw a PCP here for years that I loved. Then Optum took over and he left. Then I saw another PCP for one visit. I liked him. He left. I was assigned a newly hired extremely young PCP, her first dr job after interning. I saw her once. I left. She told me advice that was just wackadoo. Like i don't need a mammogram unless I feel a lump. I should stop taking any nsaids, only take tylenol. (except my baby aspirin for stroke. I should continue taking that...well I hadn't even been told to start?) She also spoke loudly and slowly in really simple sentences...which I thought was really odd because I could hear and understand her just fine. Went home and double checked last time I had a mammo, I was indeed due for one...researched what she told me...it was all for someone older than 78! I'm more than two decades younger... I don't look that old. I put two and two together regarding the way she was speaking to me...she assumed I was deaf and feeble minded. Then I get a call from Behavioral Health the next day. They told me that she had sent a referral for me to see them.. I asked what for? They said she told them I had said I was lonely. I said, "No, I never said that???" I never even said I was depressed on the little questionnaire they always give you. They said, "Well she's worried because you live alone and you have no family nearby...she wants you to come talk to us. " Ah! I get it! She wants me to get checked out for the 'Mentia'! I told them politely no. Walk in has always been hit or miss, depending on who you get. More miss than hit lately. I will try other places next time I need urgent care The second star is for a neurologist I saw at the hoyt office. He was good.

it was on May 4, 2023 that I met with the optometrist at the EC Mukilteo. while I waited for my appointment I observed an elderly man walk into the clinic and told the front desk staff he was very ill and needs to see doctor right away. The COVID restrictions had already been lifted. The staff told him he had to go outside and wait until they call his name. It was cold cloudy and windy that day. I had my check up and ordered a pair of brown tortes shell glass frames that were rounded lenses on the bottom of the eye piece. I paid them $133 On credit card. Optician told me my new glasses would arrive 3 weeks. Week and a half later I get a call from her. I thought it odd it was so soon. So I drove there to pick them up. Optician gave me a solid brown square pair . plopped them on my face. And said there perfect fit. She didn't measure or make a single adjustment. I became livid because I did not order that style. I specifically told her from the get go "I do not want square frames". Now I'm getting a bill for $100 each month and my full $133 payment isn't being accounted for. I'm on Medicare??? And Medicare is supposed pay for everything. When I call EC billing they say we can't tell you what the extra $100 represents but you owe us. This routine eye apppintment has been an experience from below, way below average pofessional service in all material respects.

After clinic ops were mad at regence med adv and took it out on all these patients by canceling all their ongoing care appts, we have found Providence a few blocks away. We are very happy with the care at Providence, but we found out our regular PCP from Everett Clinic decided to leave the Everett Clinic after working with them for just 8 months. She was awesome, so we called the EC clinic to see if we could perhaps follow her to the new location. Not sure if she received our message because we never got a call back from this clinic. In the meantime we have developed a new bond with our new Dr. Janeeca Johnston at Providence a few blocks away. We highly recommend this location and doctor.
