We were really impressed with Brian at Yelm Plumbing. Our main septic line had a clog on a Friday evening. Brian not only took care of the clog but pinpointed the location of a warped pipe that had broken. This was our second back up in a year and no cause for concern was found by the other company that had cleared the line. We are grateful Brian helped us clear the line and uncover the problem.

Our kitchen sink backed up and the sinks in our master bathroom were draining really slowly, so I called Yelm Plumbing and Pumps. They were able to send a plumber out the same day. The company called to let me know when the plumber was on his way. When he arrived he put paper booties over his shoes so he wouldn't track dirt in the house, which I appreciated. He fixed both the kitchen and bathroom sinks and left us with a product to use and put down our drains regularly to avoid the problem in the future (we're on a septic system). The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is because they charge a $79 fee just to show up, and the total bill was nearly $500 for about 20 minutes of work which I thought was outrageous.

Great people! Explained everything to me. A bit over-priced for what they actually did. I would recommend!

Misdiagnosed problem with our well. Did very little diagnostics and told us that our pump was going out and needed to be replaced. We had another company out that diagnosed what the actual problem was- air in the holding tank and fixed it for $150.

The absolute best service!!! The Thurston County Fairgrounds had a backflow preventer backed over the day before Fair - they dispatched a plumber within 40 minutes and had us up and running in an hour.

I had a leaking, aged water heater that barely allowed for a single warm shower. I had scheduled with another company (frogger), who did not show to install a new water heater. I called around and Yelm plumbing and pumps llc said they could install one, even one I had bought myself. I locally purchased a new water heater and two days later Brian from Yelm plumbing arrived on time with a huge smile and installed the water heater. Brian was very professional and had done a very neat and quick install of the water heater, he was also great to talk to when there was time, he seems a great person in general. We are extremely happy with the service we received and now have plenty of hot water. Thank you Brian and Yelm plumbing!Service: Water heater installation

Had a rough start with this company but they immediately called after a miscommunication with a scheduled appointment and apologized. The situation was explained and rectified and Brian came out that day to fix our leak. At this point, I would utilize this company again, they were extremely friendly and punctual. (EDITED* this review was originally written on 8DEC21 as a 1 star review. Initial review was edited to reflect the above statement on 9DEC21).Today is 15DEC and the problem has only gotten worse, the only problem to be resolved was a leaky faucet. I had inquired about a leaky faucet and a problem with hot water getting to the showers. After one of their plumbers came out to my home FIVE times, we still do not have hot water. They told us it was all the cartridges in the shower and they needed to be fixed. However, after they were changed, there was still no hot water. The plumber then came back and said it was because the restrictor plates were on the cartridges. He removed the restrictors without my permission or written consent and this is a measure to protect kids from being burned. I have a 5 month old and wasn't okay with this. We had to call a different plumber in order for him to put them back on.I was charged $1,200 for repairing a leaky faucet and servicing a tankless water heater and the only thing I have now is a faucet that doesn't leak and hot water that ONLY works when the sink faucet is running. The amount of water wasted from the plumber after 5 visits negates fixing the leaky faucet. This problem started on 8DEC and now it's 15DEC, and yet again, after being told that the complaint department would call us today- we received zero communication. I am hopeful at this point to make a final edit of this review and let you know that this business truly righted their wrong- as of now, I am extremely unsure.Services: Leak investigation and repair
