“Dr. Guojun Duan is a very professional and adept acupuncturist. Every four of five years I have a problem with my right knee freezing up. In two sessions she took care of the problem.I went to two other supposed acupuncturists in Seattle who did not help my knee. But Dr. Duan is a true acupuncturist. The way I know is because I once had to go to the Chinese Institute in London to deal with my right knee.. “I’ve been a client of Darrell Martin’s for 9 months now, with regular visits every 2 to 3 weeks for back issues. I have struggled with lower back pain the past 10 years and used to get epidurals/nerve blocks in Texas. Thanks to Darrell’s advanced techniques and decades of knowledge he has significantly improved my mobility and movement so that it’s pain free. When I met Darrell, I struggled getting through 2 miles running without back pain. After 9 months, I ran a 10k (6.2miles) this weekend and unexpectedly PRed, finishing 8th in my age group (F40-49). “I've been coming to Dr. Duan for a few weeks to specifically treat some nerve pain resulting from shoulder surgery (rotator cuff, biceps tendon and SLAP tear) compounded with shingles (affecting my surgical arm). While the needling is moderately intense, it is REALLY effective. I've done a lot of acupuncture in the past and the methods here are consistent with my experience, and in no way overwhelming. Dr. Duan has been very accommodating with some physical challenges that may otherwise limit the treatment (back pain, moving my positions around /changing them mid-treatment until I can get comfortable, etc.). She listens and works with me to ensure my treatment and experience are excellent. Happy to say after 4 weeks of treatment my nerve pain/tingling is fully resolved. I will be back for more after my next shoulder surgery on the other arm.“
