This was our second time coming back to Sacred Rain and probably not the last. We used both the deck and got treatments both times - it’s nice to have the option to split the deck time and use it before and after massages. It would be great to have a little bit more shade available on the deck but to be honest I’m not sure how that could be accomplished without impacting the vibe of this calm little oasis.
Massages were really great and exactly what I needed, I’d give six stars for those if I could. We’ll be back.
This is a unique experience in the Seattle area. It's more like a Nordic public bath and a Japanese onsen than a luxury spa, but unique in its own way. Everyone was chill, respectful, and quiet on my first visit. I didn't book a massage, but would consider doing so in the future. The sun deck had just enough room for everyone while I was there, but during busy times you might not get a place to sit. Still I would highly recommend.
Overall very good experience. I had a very relaxing massage with Renata before meeting two friends on the deck. This was the first time visiting this spa for all of us. Because of the small space, you have to be very comfortable having naked people of all genders right next to you in the hot tub and sauna. I felt a bit uncomfortable at first but then relaxed into the experience and had a great time. There is no cold plunge, but I appreciated the cold water bucket you can dump over yourself, very refreshing. Pleasant stuff at the front desk who assisted me scheduling a massage last minute.
