We updated three doors in our new home from old wood to high-quality steel doors. The front door is Geneva blue, and we love the look and feel of it and the glass on the top that gives some privacy while allowing light to come through. Basement and kitchen have a lot of light now and it feels so good to open the door. They feel strong but light. The whole experience was very smooth, from our meeting with Sebastian, to the installation of the doors. We bought our first home last year and knew we needed to replace the front and rear doors. We agonized for a bit over whether we want to learn a new skill set (and possibly turn our diy moxie into a tragedy) or if we wanted to have the doors replaced professionally.
