“When we first moved to the Tricities our home didn’t have gutters. We were new to the area so we didn’t know who to hire to install gutters. Unfortunately at the time we didn’t know anything about the “10 Points to Hiring the Correct Contractor” that Gutter Kings Construction believes in. We ended up hiring a company recommended by a realtor. Over time we noticed the gutters were leaking behind the gutters. Also we didn’t ask about having some kind of gutter leaf guards installed either. Scott from Gutter Kings Construction was recommended to us. We called Kerri at Gutter Kings Construction to see if Scott was available to come out and see if some kind gutter leaf guards could be installed on our existing gutters. Scott advised that our gutters were a facia type gutter and there wasn’t a recommended solution for those type of gutters. Scott advised that in order to fix the leaking gutters and have gutter leaf guards installed it would be best to remove the old leaking gutters and install new ones that would accept gutter leaf guards. We did our research after that and found there really wasn’t any gutter leaf guards that would work with our existing gutters. We eventually called Kerri and asked if Scott could come back and give us an estimate to remove our old leaking gutters that usually were filled with leaves and required getting up on a ladder many times each year to clean them out. Scott came out and did a comprehensive survey of our existing gutters and pointed out the improperly placed downspouts that were directing water near our homes foundation as well. Scott went back to the office and latter that same day Kerri emailed us a comprehensive written estimate to perform the work to remove the existing leaking gutters and install new gutters with gutter leaf guards. We had previously looked at customer reviews and completed job site photos of Gutters Kings Construction work and we decided to hire them. Kerri called and let us know when the next opening on the schedule was. When that day arrived they sent out Trent to remove the old leaking gutters and Scott cleaned up the old gutters on the yard and hauled them away. At that point Trent showed us what the previous gutter installers from the other company had done that caused all the leaking gutter problems and the damage that had been done to our roof flashing. I asked Trent if I needed to get a new roof installed to repair the problem. Trent said no that he had a solution that would redirect the water away from all the damaged roof flashing caused by the previous installers from the other company.
