“I walked in looking for a place to get my son's hair retwisted and was met by Sammy. He was very kind and professional and gave me the contact info to schedule w/Meek. She is very skilled at what she does, is patient, will answer your questions, and instruct you on after care. She did such a good job that one of my older sons asked if I could take him to get washed and retwisted by her. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loctician.“

“Booked a haircut for my 7yr old son with Ace, as his usual barber no longer works at the place we normally go, and Ace's reviews for kids was promising. I advised on my booking that my son has sensory issues when it comes to clippers and loose hair, and he isn't great at sitting still unless he's allowed to have a device to keep his attention. The booking was accepted 20 minutes later, no issues.

Fast forward to today, we arrive a couple minutes early and Ace was ready for us. Station clean and prepped. Greeting was friendly and my son (surprisingly) hopped right up into the chair, no issues. And wouldn't you know it? Ace listened to my notes and was prepared for them. The smock he put on my child had armholes to allow him access to his device so my son could comfortably get his hair cut without getting hair all over his clothes. Not only that, but Ace was also mindful of the excess hair he was cutting off and made sure both my son and his device were free of loose hair at least three times during the cut.

Sorry this is so long, but I truly can't get over how well this man accommodated my son. Lastly, but certainly not the least point, the haircut itself was clean and precise. My son's hair isn't the easiest to manage as he's got several cowlicks in random places, but Ace handled it like the pro he absolutely is. My wife agrees, this is the best haircut our son has ever gotten.

Only downside is it's a single chair operation, and sometimes he closes up when he needs to (or feels like it...one of the joys of owning your own business), and other times it can be a bit of a wait to get in the chair. But he's quick, no fuss, no muss, good barbering. Some of the other area barbers, with younger barbers, take great care to ensure every single hair on your head is perfect, but the trade-off is you spend a lot more time in the chair and pay a lot more. Ever since the Army, I want no muss, no fuss, in and out of the chair, and that is exactly what you get here, and why I always go back.“
