I remember when I started going to Olympus spa 35+ yrs ago, in Tacoma, before Lynwood location existed, and it was so relaxing because there was very little talking and no signs needed to remind people. However, now even with signage, there is TOO MUCH talking! It's unfortunate that people are not more respectful of others.“

“I have never been a nail person. I found that getting pedicures and manicures was often not relaxing, with glaring lights, loud talkers and questionable cleanliness. That was until a friend sent me here raving.

This place, with its comfy no-gravity massage chairs, soft music, old black and white films, dim lighting, and “no talking“ policy is an absolute gem. I find myself here almost weekly for a superfluous nail service, just to have 45 minutes of quiet and relaxation. They use all individual nail equipment, sterilized and wrapped for single use with each client, with copper water basins that are filled with individual biodegradable liners. The at-least 20 minute leg massage with each pedicure, not to mention warm blankets and neck warmer, almost always puts me to sleep. The staff is lovely; the owner is impeccable - she has a beat on every service and every client. I could go on and on. Do yourself a favor and book a nail treatment here. You will find yourself dreaming about it long after.“
