I really appreciated the easy analogy used to explain my rotator cuff issue. His assessment was conservative and gives me the opportunity to try to heal through PT first. He also listened carefully to the timeline surrounding my work travel and schedule. Thank you!

My experience with Dr. Shapiro has been nothing short of professional and exceptional. He led me through multiple options to repair an injured shoulder, some of which did not require surgery, though I did ultimately choose this route. My recovery has been quick and as painless as could be expected (though don't let me lead anyone astray, shoulder surgery and repair will come with some pain). My follow-up visits have been quick, to the point, and lead with an open ear toward my recovery and concerns. I could not ask for better interactions with Proliance, Orthopedics Specialists of Seattle, or Dr. Shapiro and I would highly recommend him to others.

I went to Dr. Shapiro based on a recommendation from my brother. I live outside the Seattle area and I wanted a second opinion. I had previously had surgery on a broken clavicle and the surgery was not sucessful, the screw in the plate pulled out of the bone within 2 weeks of the surgery. A second surgery removed the useless hardware and I was left with a non-healed fracture. After 2 years I saw Dr. Shapiro and told me that he felt he could fix my shoulder and that I was not too old for it to heal correctly. I am now 2 months out from the surgey and the bone is healed. I wholeheartedly recomend Dr. Shapiro.
