She answered all our questions, responded to messages, and knew what to outline without us even asking the questions. Saskia handled our family's viewing with such grace and funeral service without hiccup. Responsive, knowledgeable, professional and respectful beyond words. Would highly recommend Cedar Lawn for supporting one's family during what is a family's hardest moment in time.“

“I cannot say enough good things about Elizabeth Baty and the entire team at Flintoft’s.
When my mother died, we evaluated several funeral homes, including larger commercial operations with expansive facilities and many more amenities. But from the moment we walked into Flintoft’s, the difference was apparent. It felt warm, personal, and welcoming. We were treated like a family they wanted to take care of, not customers moving through a process.
Elizabeth was extraordinary. She was compassionate, patient, thoughtful, and meticulous about every detail. She and the Flintoft’s team handled our mother’s viewing and coordinated closely with our parish and the cemetery for her Funeral Mass and interment. Throughout the planning, it was clear how much they cared about getting everything right for my mother and our family. Every detail was attended to, and every transition was handled seamlessly. We did not have to worry about the logistics. We could simply be with our family and friends and say goodbye to Mom.
What meant the most to me, though, was the dignity and respect they showed my mother from the moment she came into their care. At an extraordinarily difficult time for our family, knowing she was being cared for with such gentleness and respect brought us enormous comfort.
Flintoft’s has been a family business for nearly 90 years, and it shows. There is a level of personal attention, compassion, and pride in their work that is difficult to describe until you experience it yourself. They understood that this was not simply an event they were helping us arrange. This was our mother, and this was one of the most important days our family would ever share.
I am deeply grateful to Elizabeth and everyone at Flintoft’s for the care they gave Mom and for the kindness they showed our family. Five stars do not seem sufficient. If Google allowed me to give them ten, I would. I recommend Flintoft’s without hesitation.“
