Deerfield Farm has been a foundational experience for my daughter who started riding there at 7 yo. It is a family run business with authentic and caring trainers who are experts in what they do. They put safety first and have well-loved and well cared for horses. I especially love the age ranges who train there and the positive role models my daughter is getting to know.

This farm, this program and this community has meant so much to our family. This unique program not only taught our daughter to ride, it also taught her about dedication, gratitude, accountability, the importance of and how to work together , and a “can-do” attitude. We watched our daughter grow into a confident rider and member of the riding team, onto team leader; where she served as a mentor, advisor and organizer. She developed deep relationships built on mutual respect, trust and acceptance. So many lessons learned during her time here have become part of her foundation. Deerfield is an exceptional place - great horses, excellent instruction, and a wonderful community! The youth team is an amazing program that is focused not just on developing extraordinary riders, but also on developing extraordinary young women of character. I wish there had been a program like this that I could have been a part of as a child. As an adult, I started taking lessons once a week two years ago, then started leasing one of Deerfield's wonderful horses and experienced my first horse shows, and finally, last October, Katie helped to find me my very own horse. Ranger now lives and trains at Deerfield and he and I completed our first show season together... read full review
