“I cannot say enough good things about Harken Dental Excellence. I’ve had some really terrible experiences with dentists in the past, so I was honestly nervous going in—but today completely changed that for me.

I woke up in severe tooth pain on a Sunday and had no idea where to turn. They were open, got me in quickly, and from the moment I walked in, the entire team was incredibly kind and reassuring.

Even though I was out of network, their pricing was actually lower than what I’ve paid at my previous in-network dentist for the same procedure, which was shocking (in a good way).

The office itself was spotless, the suites were super clean, and everything felt professional and comfortable. They made a stressful, painful situation so much easier.

“I just switched dentists after over a decade after relocating back to Spokane. I was so apprehensive and nervous because my teeth are sensitive, I hate change, I fear needles and have all the normal dental anxiety. Let me tell you not only was Diane, the hygienist, so knowledgeable, and intentional- but she had the lightest hand I’ve ever come across-she made me feel so relaxed- Tamera, the Dentist, was efficient and kind, and the entire staff was so welcoming- -one of their staff Maddy made me laugh the entire time I was getting X-rays and that was impressive because let’s be honest nobody loves X-rays!
-I had already made my follow up appointment but as I went to leave they handed me a beautiful bouquet of flowers. For what reason? Just kindness. Now that’s a first impression, I was going back even before the flowers😂 but that positivity was just the energy of that entire office. I highly recommend! Oh and the office is pristine- sooooooo clean and the most beautiful high ceilings!!! 10/10“

“This place is so nice. The staff is so sweet and Dr. Ryan is amazing! He did a tongue & lip tie procedure on our son and we were having issues doing the proper stretches with him. We were pretty worried about it and so we called on Saturday, he made time to not only come in on his day off but on Valentine’s Day as well. He brought his wife in with him and she was so kind. They went above and beyond to make sure our little guy was taken care of and they were great at putting our minds at ease. Love this place, if you want a good pediatric dentist, this is it.“

She came home so proud of herself and so amazed at how little her procedures hurt, and how wonderful they were to her. I learned about this practice from a mom's group friend Kassi who works as a hygienist here. She was so sweet to ask questions before I was even scheduled to help get the right providers for my needs. From the moment I entered Simonds dental office I was greeted very warmly by the front end staff that made me feel like family. They also greeted me at the end very warmly and took the time to make sure I had everything I needed before leaving their office. Amie is a BEYOND amazing hygienist in her skills, knowledge, teaching and bedside manner. She sat down and really listened and asked amazing follow up questions to learn more about my history. She made me feel so comfortable during my cleaning by her bedside manner, paraffin wax, warm neck wrap and free nitrous. Amie explained everything she was doing and what she is looking for and assessing. This was the first experience I had where someone did teaching of what they are monitoring and what is normal/not normal. Dr. Ross was equally AMAZING. He sat down and listened to my history as well. He provided ideas of avenues to pursue for nerve pain management. He took time out of his busy day to call a specialist in the Tri Cities to give them a heads up of my case. He also encouraged me to come back if I ever need more help with referrals. While talking to him it was like talking to a family member who truly cares about my health. I was able to ask questions without feeling rushed or judged. He provided great recommendations like getting pain addressed before getting treatment for gum recession. 100000% recommend seeing this dental practice...especially if you have dental anxiety!!! You won't be disappointed ❤“

“I've had an exam, then 3 teeth pulled here so far. Now I have cavities to take care of. They refuse to tend to my cavities until I get my teeth cleaned and they don't have openings for a cleaning. They are completely booked. Lady was a bit rude and now I have to call every day to see if there was a cancellation. They'll have to pull my tooth by the time they get to doing it. This happened last time I went here. The rule of having to have a cleaning before cavities can be treated is B.S.! You can still fill cavities!!!!“
