Took intermediate permit one day course.
Training was really helpful and the drills remind of the fundamentals again.
Students are expected to actively listen than the instructors feeding.
The training assumes prior riding and it shows in the way they talk about terms, without actually introducing them.
I took the beginner permit course for motorcycle, never ridden before, it’s a three day weekend class and it was so much fun and afterwards I felt a lot more comfortable and confident on the bike. The instructors are great and really knowledgeable. I highly recommend this class to gain more knowledge and practice on a bike to learn to ride safely! Thanks Tao and Tiago!
Have very helpful classes. In my case, I did the Advanced Skills course (soon to be renamed to Essential Skills) for anyone who's got their endorsement and potentially even just a permit (depending on confidence, endorsement is expected though).
This particular course was incredibly valuable in that it did 3 things:
- Identified and pointed out myths and issues with cornering technique, such as the idea you should never use your brakes while cornering (you absolutely should).
- Showed us how to engage proper stopping power on the motorcycle. We can stop as fast as cars, but it requires technique and practice.
