I am extremely happy with the medical side and check in at medical. The check in system in pharmacy is horrible. If you can afford to get your prescriptions outside in town or from expresscritps, I would definitely suggest doing that.

One of the worst facilities in the navy. Many of the complaints listed in other reviews are still 100% valid.
Appointment cancellations on day of. Limited doctors. Phones don’t get answered. Phone trees are broken.
Clearly they know you have no where else to go and take full advantage of this fact. Service members should be better than this .

I have been using this pharmacy for over 5 years now and have not had a problem with this facility. The procedures are somewhat different from civilian pharmacies, but within their guidelines I haven't had any problems at all. They are friendly, courteous, and respectful to both active and retirees as I have seen. I drive over 40 miles one way and the script center is the usual way I get our medications. It is usually the medical professionals who do not understand the military ways. Yes, I have to contact my doctors for new prescriptions, but it is not a hassle to follow thru.
