Crystal came over and measured everything and then helped me choose which products to consider. One thing about Abbey is that they do not make you feel rushed in any way, either with the buying or the actual installation process. This was important for me because I had never embarked on such a big project alone. I do wish I had been warned about the potential blowing of concrete dust using fans in order to dry the cement placed to level the floor. I have no experience with tile laying procedures and my Audio/Visual Equipment was covered with a thick residue. That being said, I talked to the specialist, Tony, and he cleaned it off for me. Some things I wish had been explained a bit better, but the specialists showed up on time, worked hard and did a beautiful job with great, exacting detail to the touches, such as my new baseboards and the trim pieces. I have posts that took great detail in cutting the baseboard to fit around all 4 corners of each one. They did a good job of cleaning up inside and outside and all debris was removed and whisked away. The floor looks very nice, and family and friends have given their approval. This was a big step for me as my space is very large. Later this week Abbey will be back to carpet the remaining bedroom. Thanks to Ricardo and especially Tony who did a great job!! And thanks to Crystal who was always there to answer my questions and help in any way.
I spoke and emailed with Crystal, and communication was timely, clear, and easy. The guy who came and did the estimate was fast and friendly, and the 2 guys who did the actual install work (Raul and Jonathan, I think?), were very nice. The carpet looks great and the price was very competitive. I'd use Abbey Carpet again without hesitation.
