Entering into A Massage By The Sea feels like a magical dreamscape. One step through the door, it is a sanctuary, and we become enveloped in gorgeous decor, giving pure peace all the way to the soul level. Even walking onto the grounds... it is a mesmerizing experience, beautiful stone walkways surrounded by exquisite floral delight. This massage studio is unique in atmosphere and healing techniques. The sound bath is truly divine.
Roxanne is an incredible practitioner. I really enjoyed all the different sound and massage modalities she employed, especially the hot stone massage. The setting is very peaceful. I can't wait to come back!
I've had two massages by Roxanne. Most recently my main concern was a tight and painful neck I've been struggling with for months. She worked on it with a combination of hot stones, her hands and other tools - tuning forks, different bells that are new to me - and for the first time in ages it is pain free and I have full range of motion back. If you're used to "traditional" Swedish or other massages, some of what Roxanne does will be unfamiliar and seem a bit strange. If you can trust that she knows what she's doing (which she does) and experience it, at the very least you will have tried something new but likely, you will feel the benefit.... read full review
