“We had a wonderful experience with Lizzie for our son’s very first haircut. He was extremely distraught about sitting in the chair, but Lizzie was incredibly patient and had a whole bag of tricks to help him calm down: shows on a tablet, Goldfish, a lollipop, and helpful instructions for us on how to distract and comfort him with home videos. Once he finally settled, she immediately recognized that he was “in the zone” and worked quickly and skillfully to get the haircut done. She did a fantastic job.
The salon itself is lovely, with lots of toys to keep kids entertained while they wait. The first-haircut package was also a really nice touch, with a commemorative photo and a lock of hair. They sent him home with a toy and a balloon, which turned a stressful beginning into a very happy ending. We are so grateful to Lizzie for making his first haircut such a positive and memorable experience”
