I live on the top of Queen Anne hill where a neighbor referred me to Georgia. She was able to provide me and my neighbor with excellent tree healthcare plans and great habitat planting recommendations. As I have a pretty steep bank, getting the right plant materials to thrive there is always challenging. It’s nice to be able to call on an expert like Georgia for help.

John from SavATree was great. He was very professional and patient while my husband and I worked out the details for our tree service. When the team came to thin the trees they were quick and did a great job.

I really appreciated SavATree and the arborist Georgia. She was able to give us a quick assessment of our trees and sent a crew out the next day to take care of the problem branches. The crew was courteous and easy to work with.

SavATree was founded by Ralph Robbins in 1978 with a single objective in mind; to save trees from the devastating effects of repeated defoliations by the Gypsy Moth Caterpillar (Lymantria dispar). While this moth was accidentally introduced into the United States by French entomologist Leopold Trouvelot in 1868, it was not until the late 1970’s that the population exploded in the Northeast. Ralph, a graduate of Paul Smith’s college and entrepreneur at heart, saw an opportunity to make a difference in support of tree preservation and care.
