Drove out here hoping to save our snake but she died on the way there. They were very compassionate and handled her cremation and gave us a clay print of her body. I live clear up in Smokey Point but it was worth it for how compassionate they were.

Dr. Plass and staff have been so great in treating my sick chinchilla. Thank you everybody for taking care of my little Boba Milk Tea!
Edit: I have decided to edit my review with some updated information, despite more than a year having passed since Boba died. I believe Boba would have pulled through if this clinic did not aggressively over-prescribe antibiotics and pain medication. He passed away from GI stasis not long after this review was posted. I brought in one of my other chinchillas for an eye infection a few months ago and was given a plethora of different treatment options unrelated to his eye. It felt very uncomfortable being 'upsold' in a clinical setting like that. The vet wanted to put my chinchilla on antibiotics for his sore feet and kept insisting even after I told her I was hesitant after what happened with Boba. It definitely felt like they just wanted to squeeze more money out of me. Leaving 2 stars for Dr. Plass, she was compassionate and genuinely wanted to help, however I will not be bringing my chinchillas back here.

Ever vet I called recommend CBEAM when my sweet rat, Tuna, was dying from respiratory disease. I took my little guy there and met Dr. Sareena Enloe. I warned her that Tuna was incredibly skittish, and hated being handled. I was used to vets being a little rough with him. But Dr. Enloe spoke in soft tones and used only a gentle touch. She did not stress my boy out any more than absolutely necessary. She gave me all the options and I could tell finally someone had the care knowledge Tuna needed. Unfortunately, it was too late, and euthanasia was my best choice. She walked me through what would happen, and gave me lots of time to say goodbye. I picked up his ashes last week in a box engraved with his name, along with a fur clipping and a clay imprint. I want to thank Dr. Enloe from the bottom of my heart. She was a breath of fresh air and was more caring to Tuna than anyone had ever been. I am so relieved we both got to feel her kindness in his last moments. I have met so many vets who do not take small animal care very seriously. Now, I will never ever take my rats anywhere else.

We have had occasion to bring two of our farm birds here over the years. However, they are such an amazing team it almost makes me wish we had a more exotic pet that we could bring in for care regularly. Every aspect of the practice is so thoughtful—from the snacks in the waiting room (and free stickers!) to the charts to help understand signs of pain in hard to read animals like a mouse, rat, ferret, or bunny, to the specialized treats for so many different animals (our duck was very pleased with her mealworms) to the memorial footprint they take at the end of your pet’s life.
Seven or eight years ago we brought our turkey, and more recently our duck. The staff is incredibly kind and caring towards the animals in their care. The second time we brought our turkey in, after being attacked by a raccoon, he did unfortunately die, but when I talked to the vet tech on the phone she told me she’d been able to sit with him as he passed, and I could hear the care and sadness in her voice. Even though he and our duck are farm birds, they are never treated as any less important or deserving of care than an indoor pet would be. The staff is extremely kind—I get the sense that it’s probably a clinic that is able to choose its employees very intentionally.
I would have absolutely no hesitation to bring any animal I loved here for care.

I would give this place zero stars. When I brought my guinea pig, Hairy, in on Wednesday morning, I was told the clinic was supposed to let me know my appointment needed to be rescheduled, but I was never informed. I live two hours away from this clinic. I was then told they could see him as a drop-off appointment. I immediately explained that I could not afford the $200 drop-off fee, but they assured me I wouldn't be charged that fee since it was a mistake on their end, I would be charged $75 for the appointment. Throughout his treatment, we spent a significant amount of money on exams, we trusted the clinic and believed these measures would help him. At no point was I ever informed that Hairy's health had declined so drastically that he only had a very short time left to live. Instead, I was told he needed additional exams, X-rays, and ultrasounds totaling nearly $2,000. I could not afford that due to the ongoing costs of my own cancer treatments. The staff made me feel like I had no other options and offered no payment plans. Because I couldn't agree to all the examinations, I did everything I could think of to get the best results for Hairy and to scrape together $800 by borrowing money, which left me feeling completely helpless. Hairy was given anesthesia. When they handed him back to me inside the clinic, I noticed he was lethargic and laying on his side. I was told he would remain like that until the anesthesia wore off. However, Hairy did not eat, drink water, or move at all for the rest of the day. The following day, his condition remained unchanged. I tried giving him Critical Care and water since it had been hours since he last ate. I became deeply concerned because before I left Hairy in their care, he was eating, drinking, and producing normal stools. The moment he was handed back to me inside the building, he was never the same. Hairy passed away this morning, we called the clinic looking for answers and closure. This facility had made us feel like there was hope for his recovery, especially after the exams he underwent. We wanted to understand why if Hairy’s condition was already so severe and his chances of survival were low this was not communicated to us from the start. Instead of receiving compassion during one of the most painful moments a pet owner can experience, we were met with blame and dismissal. When speaking with the client service manager, Lisa, we felt our concerns were brushed aside rather than acknowledged. The conversation lacked empathy, understanding, and any sense of accountability. Lisa actually blamed us for Hairy's death, stating that “he died because you didn't bring him back through the emergency room.” Then went on stating “well medical examinations are expensive and that’s what you have to pay” after we told her we weren’t able to afford to pay more if we had to take Hairy back in through the emergency room. Hairy is not my first guinea pig; I have years of experience with them. In my experience with vets, a good veterinarian will be honest with you about your pet’s life expectancy. If a pet has a chance to survive, the vet will treat them to the best of their ability and not require you to bring them back 24 hours later because they are in worse shape than when you initially arrived. This clinic is deeply disappointing. Lisa was incredibly inconsiderate, unprofessional and showed zero compassion. It is heartbreaking to know there are people like Lisa that are working in the veterinary medicine field who treat grieving pet parents this way, especially when we do everything humanly possible to help our pets and simply want a better understanding why the severity of his health and life expectancy was never communicated. I had Hairy for 6 wonderful years, and he deserved better.

The vets here were so so kind.
I brought my 6 year old male ferret into the emergency room, he was making an unusual squeaking noise and couldn’t urinate properly.
They took him in immediately when I walked through the door. I waited for the vet to bring me back to the room. She then explained to me that she took out over 3oz of urine in his bladder and she was amazed that his bladder did not rupture. She told me that she felt either cysts or stones on his prostate and took him in for x-ray.
An hour later, she told me that it is either prostate cancer or could do another treatment option for the cysts on his prostate. Knowing that he could potentially suffer and was in pain, I decided it may be best to put him to rest so he didn’t have to suffer.. one of the hardest decisions Ive ever had to do.
This vet was so kind, she guided me through all the steps very well and gently. I got to say my goodbyes and it was such a great feeling knowing he wasn’t in pain any longer.
I am so thankful for these doctors, they do genuinely care for all of your pets. So thank you to the Cbeam team!

Thank you for saving my rabbit! She was so weak, couldn't even move, after 2nd visit, she totally recovered. They even gave me option to drop off to avoid emergency fee, I appreciate doctors and staffs!🙏🌈

If you are looking for a place that actually cares about hamsters, seek elsewhere. First of all, id like to note their Instagram displays a VERY INCORRECT hamster care guide promoting use of wired and multi tiered dangerous cages and saying they only need 1-2 inches of bedding. Any person who cares about hamsters knows that is not true. Their lack of knowledge shows in appointments too. They also handled my dwarf poorly. She was so stressed she started depouching her snacks and the vet continued to talk in a very loud voice right next to my hamsters face. It feels like the smaller the creature the less a vet cares and its so just so unfair. If you are going to treat hamsters LEARN ABOUT HAMSTERS. Never coming here again. They picked up my hamster and put a stethoscope to her and then put her back and had the audacity to charge $85 for it.

Very nice front staff, able to see my parrot relatively quick given she was not super urgent. Bailey vet tech was very nice checking us out and giving medication instructions.

It has taken me 3 weeks to be able to write this. I have now lost two beloved parrots at this clinic. Both were sicker than we realized and died during diagnostic procedures. If I had realized the risk was as high to die during anesthesia, I would not have agreed. We should have stabilized the birds more before jumping to this step. But the real reason I am writing this, is CBEAM did such an unbelieveably bad job caring for the person. I asked for a call from the doctor to understand what happened, they said they would but never followed through. I am having to call weeks later and find out where the ashes are that I requested cremated. There was zero care for the person, I would say go anywhere else if you can.
