Vermilion is owned by my favorite hair artist- Valentine! Most recently, I asked for a little shaggy pixie mullet and that is exactly what I got. They can really make hair dreams come true.
Anytime I visit this salon, I get the precise image I ask for. I always end up chatting more than I intend, and that is met with kindness and I enjoy being in the atmosphere here.

Absolutely loved my experience at vermilion! Kenzi was easy to communicate with, efficient, and knowledgeable! I literally have never trusted anyone but my mom to cut my hair but I’ve heard wonderful things about Kenzi and so I decided to book with her. I was a little nervous because my hair can be hard to work with but she was confident and communicated clearly how she’d cut my hair. I love the results and will definitely be seeing her again soon! Kenzi is a magician!
Went to her when another salon butchered my hair and I cannot rave more about her work. My hair went from a copper and yellowy toned highlighted mess to a gorgeous ombre with cool tones which is what I wanted in the first place! Will never go anywhere else and I recommend her to all my friends. Great stylist with a great personality who makes the experience fun and relaxing.

I got a cut and partial foil from Kenzi on Tuesday. I told her that I wanted very natural looking highlights and showed her a photo of what my hair looked like in the past with said natural looking highlights. She confirmed she could do it and we chatted while she worked on my hair. When she showed me the initial results, I was horrified. I had bright yellow streaks in my hair that were obviously fake looking. I have natural black hair. Black hair with bright yellow streaks. It did not look natural at all and the look we discussed and agreed on was not present. At this point I was already late to pick up my kid. I tried not to panic or cry. She quickly made a darker toner and applied that to my hair. The second toner was less yellow than the first but still very far from what I asked for. I had to leave to get my kid but sent the hair salon an email communicating that I was very disappointed and unhappy with the results of my hair appointment. After sleeping on it and still being unhappy with the results, I called and left a voicemail the following day asking if the owner of the salon could contact me and provided my phone number. It’s now Friday and I have yet to hear back at all. I am deeply disappointed in the color and also see that the curtain bangs she cut are visibly uneven. This is not the cut and color that I asked for and that we agreed on. My hair is black with yellow highlights and the look I asked for, showed a photo of, and described was chestnut brown.

All I am asking for is the salon contact me back and make this right. I am extremely disappointed and unhappy and feel uncared for as a client after reaching out twice before writing this review.

I love this cute salon, the vibe is always right and the atmosphere is on point. Abby is an absolute gem and has been cutting my hair for years now and I do not trust anyone else to do it! Couldn’t recommend her enough 🙌🏽

So … it’s taken a few months for me to write this ! I had been a client of Katie Marglon for around 6 months - less than a year. The work was sub par at best at the beginning!!!! Amongst being unorganized, forgetful about certain steps in the process, or over charging me and keeping my left over hair extensions for whatever reason ? The worst part of going to this stylist was - gossip !!! It finally came back to me that this woman had been discussing my personal life and bashing me with other clients of hers!! I should’ve known just based off her conversation with me alone … but being her highest paying client at the time and thinking we were “friends” since I was in her chair faithfully, I thought I was exempt lol !!! Not only over indulging my life story to random clients she was giving out my social media accounts ect !!! Then the cherry on top was she made “by hand” k-tip extensions for me out of clip in extension hair that I paid close to 1200$ for and every single one of them shed til the day (2 weeks later) I had them removed ! Once the removal was done by my NEW and capable stylist the damage could be evaluated! Almost every single k-tip she installed had detached my natural hair leaving a bald spot !!! The application was wrong , the method of which she “hand made them” was wrong , her charging me for the price and quality of the professional hair extensions to just give me clip in hair extension hair is wild. I am taking further legal action on this stylist.

I’ve seen Abby a few times now and have loved my haircut each time. She’s a gem and I’m so glad I’ve found her!! I brought my partner in for a cut (he has long and thick hair) and she worked some magic on it and really walked him through maintenance and was totally wonderful. I would recommend her 100% of the time!! Great staff, great salon and so worth it!
