I photographed a wedding at Shuksan Golf Club and the views alone make it worth considering. The North Cascades as a backdrop — Mt. Baker visible in the distance, rolling greens, open sky — it's the kind of setting that makes everything feel a little more elevated. As a photographer, you really can't go wrong with that much natural scenery to work with.
A solid choice if you're looking for something in the Bellingham area with a relaxed, scenic feel.

First time golfing here. Nice people. Good snacks. This time of year is wet, plan accordingly. Great views on a nice day. Lots of elevation changes.

Great course Only thing I have a slight problem with is there's a handful of muddy area's while on the fairway and some others near cart paths.
Some of the cart paths are under construction and didn't pose to be a problem.

Course condition has improved dramatically in recent months. All greens are open. A few remnants of winter kill are still evident in some isolated areas of some greens. Shuksan is very playable and I enjoyed my round with my friends.

I played for the first time here early this morning and truly enjoyed it! This courses layout is really cool, with plenty of hazards to avoid on a beautiful landscape. The view was wonderful, and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend this course! -13 hcp.

Every year the conditions on Shuksan continues to worsen. The price is not indicative of the quality of the course. There are better options elsewhere.

This place keeps deteriorating year after year and the price is not reflective of the condition.

The course is in pretty good shape. Most of the greens have recovered but are extremely slow and still a bit bumpy. The staff are great and make it a very enjoyable experience. After the round, you must stop and grab a bite to eat. The food matches the amazing view you get sitting on the patio.

Had another great experience at the Bistro at Shuksan. Husband and I stopped in on our way to the cabin. Asked about the daily soup and wasn't sure about it, ended up being able to try it and I was blown away with the flavors!!! Chef Brendon created an Ube (purple sweet potato) soup that was the best soup I have EVER tried! Service was on point and glad we stopped! Thanks again for an unforgettable experience!!!!
