I would not recommend this doctors office for primary care. I started care, had my wellness exam, and the doctor forgot to send in my prescriptions (mental health related). I called to have them sent in and Dr. Johnson sent them in wrong, 3 times. They then said I needed an appointment to fix it. I made the appointment and was 10 minutes late (my mistake by writing it wrong in my calendar) and she refused to see me and charged me an $80 late fee. I was so frustrated I cried to the office manager (who is lovely) and she relayed the issue to the doctor. They say my prescription is now sent in correctly but I do not trust their word anymore.

I love going to Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine! The staff are so friendly and proactive. I feel that everyone in the practice is invested in my health & success, and it’s been such a joy getting to work with everyone. My physician makes quick referrals and follows up to make sure I get connected. They are so easy to contact & are prompt with responses. I would recommend to anyone!!

I was excited to try this clinic out, particularly for their women's health and OBGYN care. I went to one appointment last year and then found out my new awesome provider moved locations. I have called the office several times to get the labs that were ordered by the provider who left (it took me leaving several messages to even get a call back) and they refuse to give me the labs that were ordered...so essentially they aren't giving me my own health records. Most clinics these days have a portal you can log onto to view your visit summary and labs but this place doesn't and now it appears they won't give me my own health records without paying $25/page. That's ridiculous. Make our records more accessible and maybe I would have considered staying with your clinic.

One of my favorite places for keeping myself healthy. All staff are so sweet and inviting and I feel welcomed always. This is a one stop shop for self-care as I can get a massage, chiropractic and my medical care all done at the same place. All practitioners are top notch, take most insurance and so many pluses that make for a seamless happy experience all around.

Tried to make an appointment to get on HRT. they called when I was asleep and didn't use my preferred name. Emailed them... tried calling next morning. No awnser. Never got a response from email either. Don't waste your time trying to go here for hrt. Already was helped and felt more welcomed elsewhere then a place that doesn't use someone's preferred name.

I’ve been going to Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine and Dermatology since 2019, and this clinic has helped guide me through some very significant health issues, including breast cancer and diabetes.
From the beginning, I’ve felt that my concerns and needs were heard clearly and taken seriously. The front desk staff are welcoming, whether in person or over the phone. When they’re busy, they thank me for my patience, and whenever I leave a message, I receive a call back in a timely manner. Also, the medical assistants are professional and very personable.
I feel fortunate to have found Kirstin Curtis ARNP and the rest of the practitioners at this practice. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and take the time to understand me and my situation.
On more than one occasion, when my insurance company didn’t approve something Kirsten recommended, she found a workaround so I could still receive the necessary diagnostic testing, treatment, and care. I can’t emphasize enough what a relief it is to have this level of support. I’m truly grateful for the attention and dedication I’ve experienced over the years.
