My cat is petrified of vets. It takes every ounce of emotional strength for both of us to go to a veterinary facility. But everytime I have taken Tux to Dr.Day, I have been able to go in with him, calm him down and stay with him until he is sedated and calm. I feel totally comfortable leaving Tux in his care and I love how they care for him. Now, Dr Day's ultrasound imaging is thorough and precise. He covers everything in detail and its easy to understand. He can definitely do a proper job with accuracy and professionalism. You really do get what you pay for here. Knowledge is priceless especially in regards to my animal babies. Dr. Day and staff are at the top in my experience. Appointments can be pricey but they're definitely worth it. I highly recommend.

Larabee was so great. My cat was abused by a prior vet. So taking him in my are anywhere is traimatic and I hate it. The receptionist was so nice and caring. When we started i was able to come inside and be with my cat until he was sedated. I went for lunch and came back in a hour. When I returned we reviewed all the images. There was no rushing, all my questions were answered, and then i got my cat and we talked about how the sedation would wear off and how he would behave until he recovered from it. I was totally worried about this and let me tell you, it was a breeze. Very great compassionate care. I was even short a little and they said no problem and billed me for the rest. Totally Five-star.

My dog was having some digestion issues so I took her to this place for testing. The Vet and staff are very friendly and thorough and we now have an action plan to get my girl feeling better after testing and some modifications to her diet. Thank you

I've never met a vet with a better "table-side" manner than Dr. Day. He meticulously and calmly gathered background information about my cat, while making me feel comfortable and cared for. There was no sense of rushing. He described the entire sedation/ultrasound process in detail - no surprises. Dr. Day is obviously very data-oriented, and when we went over the results of my cat's ultrasounds he walked me though everything; it's obvious that although he has no doubt done thousands (tens of thousands?) of ultrasounds, each one provides a new and unique diagnostic puzzle for him to solve, and he walked me though every step. For example, he described to me that there are 4 possible causes for my cat's heart murmur - and he summarized the 3 reasons that weren't the answer for my cat, and why, along with the one that was the root cause. The entire experience was really well done. Jackie, who was at the front desk as well as being the person who did the initial intake interview, was professional, also detail-oriented, and she seemed to genuinely like my cat. This was very comforting. Overall I was super impressed, and I'm very happy to know that that Bellingham has such an impressive local veterinary resource.
