I am less than 24 hours into a transforaminal epidural injection. Which means a needle releases anesthetic and then a steroid near the spine.
The anesthetic was immediate, no pain at all. Earlier in the day I was crying. The anesthetic wears off in two hours and it wasn't bad when it did. I slept for seven hours, which has been rare, I woke up pain free. I don't care if it only lasts a few months I know I can go back.
Dr McQueen is a perfectionist and guided the needle where it needed to be. I trust him.
I have visited Dr. McQueen several times over the past few years and find his specialized medical experience, demeanor and personalized medical guidance to be rated as excellent. He has been attentive to my unique medical needs and has performed several procedures as a result of his diagnosed medial plan. Additionally, his workplace is also very professional. Office, nursing and surgical staff go out of their way to enhance the Doctor/patient experience. I would therefore highly recommend Dr. Carlton McQueen to those seeking specialized medical care.
I was referred to Dr. McQueen from Seattle Spine sports medicine regarding my neck for a related-work injury. I received a TPI medication injection used with an Ultra sound. Dr. McQueen hit the spot on both my shoulders. I do have multiple injuries besides my neck. My shoulder's relaxed and gave me relief for my neck and shoulder pain. However, I still do have neck issues and my shoulder pain is up and down. I would go back again.
