We had family visiting and this was one of the first shops we stopped in on Winslow. Both my husband and I were drawn to one particular painting. I told my husband to treat himself for once, Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, and all the other greetings, because we're atheists. He had a very touching moment with the owner/painter who created this masterpiece and bought it on the spot. It was so touching. It meant so much to her, and not in a financial sense, but in the way only an artist can appreciate. She was moved to tears. We will forever treasure this impressionist piece of art. Thank you SO much for sharing your gift with us.
My teenage daughter loves to go to Bainbridge for her Birthday sleepover with friends, this is the second year we've made this trip from Bothell. this year, we visited Michele's shop again. In chatting with her, we told her it was my daughters 16th birthday celebration with her 4 friends who came. She thought that was so sweet and gave my daughter one of her beautiful seaglass bracelets as a gift. We didn't buy anything this time (I did the year before :) but she was happy to gift this to her. Found this place strolling downtown on our first visit to Bainbridge -- great selection of home goods and original paintings (many by the owner). Purchased an accent chair and two paintings and will be back!
